QuestBridge Scholarships Overview:
QuestBridge Scholarships for 2024 are fully funded opportunities designed for American high school seniors. Partnering with 40 prestigious colleges and universities across the USA, QuestBridge offers the National College Match scholarship program. This scholarship covers the entire cost of attendance for each college, including tuition, room and board, travel expenses, and books and supplies, without any parental contribution or student loans. However, students may be required to contribute through work-study or student savings.
Two Levels of Scholarships:
Matching Scholarship:
- Up to $500 of participant tuition unit purchases will be matched.
- Scholarship recipients with a family income of $75,000 or less will receive a two-to-one match, while others will receive a one-to-one match.
Promise Scholarship:
- A one-time grant of tuition units worth $2,000 at today’s prices will be awarded.
- Matching Scholarships will be approved for up to 150 top scoring applicants, with the five highest scorers receiving Promise Scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for QuestBridge scholarships, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, or a high school student attending high school in the U.S.
- Primarily A’s in challenging courses (Honors, AP, or IB)
- SAT or PSAT scores over 1310, ACT composite scores above 28
- Class rank in the top 5-10% of the graduating class
- Strong writing ability, intellectual spark, and determination demonstrated through essays and recommendation letters
Application Process:
- Complete the National College Match’s online application, including essays and short answer questions.
- Submit two letters of recommendation from teachers, a Secondary School Report from your high school counselor, and a School Profile (optional but recommended).
- Provide a high school transcript and any standardized test scores (SAT and/or ACT).
- At the end of September, submit your application.
- In October, rank up to 12 college partners for consideration.
- Finalists will be notified in October and will proceed to submit additional materials for specific colleges they ranked.
- In December, matched applicants will be awarded full four-year scholarships to their chosen colleges.
Applicants not selected as finalists or not matched with a college in October can reapply and apply to additional schools as part of QuestBridge Regular Decision without any application fees.
